Hanuman, also known as Anjaneya, Bajrang Bali, and Maruti, is one of the most revered deities in Hinduism
Lord Hanuman is the son of Anjana and Kesari, but is also considered the spiritual son of Vayu (Wind God). He is an ardent devotee of Lord Rama and played a crucial role in the Ramayana epic.
Hanuman is worshipped as a symbol of physical strength, perseverance, devotion, and selfless service. He is believed to be immortal (Chiranjeevi) and continues to live among us, blessing his devotees.
Known by many names including Sankat Mochan (remover of difficulties), Pavanputra (son of wind), and Bajrangbali (one with a body as strong as a thunderbolt), Hanuman embodies the perfect balance of power and humility, knowledge and devotion.
Possesses infinite physical and mental strength. Can change size at will and lift entire mountains.

Anjana was an apsara (celestial nymph) who was cursed to be born on earth. She performed intense penance to Lord Shiva for 12 years, seeking a son as powerful as Shiva himself.
Pleased with her devotion, Lord Shiva granted her wish and promised that he would incarnate as her son. Meanwhile, King Dasharatha of Ayodhya performed a yajna (fire ritual) to have sons, and the sacred payasam (pudding) was distributed among his queens.
A kite snatched a portion of the payasam and dropped it where Anjana was meditating. Vayu, the Wind God, delivered this divine prasad into her outstretched hands. By the combined blessings of Shiva and the divine payasam, Hanuman was born to Anjana and Kesari.
As a baby, Hanuman saw the rising sun and mistook it for a ripe fruit. Using his divine powers, he leaped toward the sun to eat it!
Indra, king of gods, threw his thunderbolt (vajra) to stop Hanuman, which struck him on the jaw (hanu). Enraged, Vayu withdrew all air from the universe, causing all beings to suffer.
To appease Vayu and revive Hanuman, all gods bestowed divine boons upon the child:
